EESTEC LC Bucharest installed a wireless network in PUB. This happenend during 20-27 November 2007, in the Workshop "Cut the Wires, Ride the Wave!". We would like to thank the companies ORANGE and ATLASNET for their support.

The coverage of the network is provided by 3 acces-points

1) AN hall
2) Room AN 010 (momentarily inactive)
3) Room AN 034 (momentarily inactive)

 Access to the internet is through the PUB network (powered by RoEDU), and the maintenance is provided  by EESTEC.

Access to the network is an "as is" service. This means that EESTEC does not HAVE to keep the network active or repair it immediately if it goes down. But we try to keep downtime to a minimum.

Access to the network and through it, to the internet is free and unsecured, therefore the data transmitted and received can be intercepted by other persons. EESTEC is not responsible for the damage that can be caused by this.
